My music

Here’s a selection of the music stuff I’ve published. Up to now, mostly are midi renderings, done at the best of my MIDI rendering knowledge at the time I published the thing, so never so good :-) any willingly performer is obviously well-accepted…

Gort’s Museum - Gort is a creative sound patch writer, specializedi in 80s sounds with very low memory consumption. I wrote this piece using one of its sound banks. It’s a work quite different from my usual production.

Quartetto Memorious - A friend of mine, a violinist, was killed when he was only twenty-one. Together, a day, we did some canone-improvisation over a theme which we invented on that moment. I took again that theme, and wrote a little contrapunctual string quartet.

Studio: 31 TET, modulazione al 7o armonico - I love microtonal music, but very rarely had the time to put up the infrastructure needed to write it the way I liked it. This is one of the few trials I made. It’s minimal, short, and mostly an experimental mix of my classical taste and microtonal one.

Preludio in Sol Maggiore - A very Bachian prelude for piano.

Sovraffollamento - A simil-contest I did with an illustrator, a friend of mine, to make a work, each on his own, using as theme a word taken at random. This random word was overcrowding. Here you can see what he drew.

101+1 - Take some four instruments totally at random, and try to write a small composition for them. This ensemble of Xilofono, Siringa, Tuba and Armonium did give me some satisfaction.

Imprò 15:30 - I often perform structured improvisations when I’m by myself. This time I recorded it.
